This tutorial is designed to walk you through how to configure the Eudora 6 email client for use with the Digitalputty email services.
You will need your email server settings to set up your email
program. The email server settings are provided in the tutorial, however
you may want to print out our Server
Settings support page as it contains all necessary email server information
and more to get you configured properly and online now!
You must meet these minimum requirements before setting up the Eudora 6 email client:
A. Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP Operating Systems must be installed.
B. Eudora 6 email client must be installed.
C. Your Dial Up connection must already be configured.
BEGIN SETUP
Click on Eudora icon.
Once Eudora 6 opens, the New Account Wizard will begin setup of Eudora 6.
Click Next.
Select Create a brand new email account where it says Would you like to:
Click Next.
In the Your Name field, enter the name you would like people to see when you send them email. e.g. John Smith
Click Next.
In the Email Address field, enter your email address. e.g. username@digitalputty.com
Click Next.
In the Login Name field, enter your digitalputty username. e.g. myusername
Click Next.
In the Incoming Server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com.
Select POP for the type of server you are using.
Click Next.
In the Outgoing Server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com.
Click Next.
Success Dialog.
Click Finish.
A "pay to unlock my cool features" dialog box will popup.
