| Entourage for Mac OS X |
| This tutorial is designed to walk you through how to configure the Macintosh OS X Entourage email client for use with the Digitalputty email services. |
| You will need your email server settings to set up your email
program. The email server settings are provided in the tutorial, however
you may want to print out our Server
Settings support page as it contains all necessary email server information
and more to get you configured properly and online now! |
| You must meet these minimum requirements before setting up Macintosh OS X Entourage email client: |
A. The Apple Macintosh OS X must be installed.
B. Entourage for the Macintosh OS X must be installed.
C. Your Dial Up connection must already be configured.

| BEGIN SETUP |
- Open Entourage.
- In the First name field, enter a first name.
- In the Last name field, enter a last name.
- Click the right arrow button.

- Optionally, you may fill out the Home Information fields.
- Optionally, you may check the box next to This is my default address.
- Click the right arrow button.

- Optionally, you may fill out the Work Information fields.
- Optionally, you may check the box next to This is my default address.
- Click the right arrow button.

- Click the I want to start using Entourage without importing anything radio button in the What do you want to import? area.
- Click the right arrow button.

- Check the box next to Enable Junk Mail Filter.
- Click the right arrow button.

- In the Your name field, type your name as would like it to
appear to email recipients.
- Click the right arrow button.

- Select I already have an email address I'd like to use.
- In the E-mail Address field, enter your entire Digitalputty email address
(e.g., username@digitalputty.com).
- Click the right arrow button.

- Click the arrow box on the My incoming mail server is a(n) pop-up list and select POP server.
- In the Incoming mail server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- In the Outgoing (SMTP) mail server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- Click the right arrow button.

- In the Account ID field, type your entire Digitalputty email address (e.g., username@digitalputty.com).
- In the Password field, enter your email password. Your email password is case sensitive so make sure the CAPS LOCK is off when typing your password.
- If you want Entourage to save your password, simply check the box next to Save password in my Mac OS keychain.
- Click the right arrow button.

- In the Account name field, enter a description for this email account (e.g., username@digitalputty.com, my digitalputty account, dp mail, etc).
- Be sure to check the box next to Include this account in my Send & Receive All schedule.
- Click the Finish button.

- Close all windows.
