| This tutorial is designed to walk you through how to configure the Macintosh OS X Mail client for use with the Digitalputty email services. |
| You will need your email server settings to set up your email
program. The email server settings are provided in the tutorial, however
you may want to print out our Server
Settings support page as it contains all necessary email server information
and more to get you configured properly and online now! |
You must meet these minimum requirements before setting up the MAC OS X email client:
A. The Apple Macintosh OS X must be installed.
B. Your Dial Up connection must already be configured.

| BEGIN SETUP |
- Open Mail.

- From the Mail menu, choose Preferences.

- Click the Add Account button.

- Click on the Acount Information tab.
- Click the arrow box on the Account Type pop-up list and choose
POP.
- In the Description field, enter a description for this email
account.
- In the Email Address field, type your full Digitalputty email
address (e.g., username@digitalputty.com).
- In the Full Name field, enter the name you want people to see
when you send mail (e.g., Your Name or An Alias).
- In the Incoming Mail Server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- In the User Name field, enter your Digitalputty username.
- In the Password field, enter your account password.

- Click the arrow box on the Outgoing Mail Server pop-up list
and choose Add server.

- In the Outgoing Mail Server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- Click the OK button.

- Click the OK button.

- Verify that the account you created appears in the Accounts window.
- Close the Accounts window.
