| Apple Mail 1.3 for Mac OS X 10.3 |
| This tutorial is designed to walk you through how to configure the Macintosh OS X Mail client for use with the Digitalputty email services. |
| You will need your email server settings to set up your email
program. The email server settings are provided in the tutorial, however
you may want to print out our Server
Settings support page as it contains all necessary email server information
and more to get you configured properly and online now! |
You must meet these minimum requirements before setting up the MAC OS X email client:
A. The Apple Macintosh OS X must be installed.
B. Your Dial Up connection must already be configured.

| BEGIN SETUP |
- Open Mail.

- In the Full Name field, enter the name you want people to see
when you send them email..
- In the Email Address field, type your full Digitalputty email
address
(e.g., username@digitalputty.com).
- In the Incoming Mail Server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- Click the arrow box on the Account Type pop-up list and choose
POP.
- In the User Name field, enter your Digitalputty username.
- In the Password field, enter your account password.
- In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- Click the OK button.

Note: At this point, Mail will attempt to contact the mail server.
If Mail fails to contact mail.digitalputty.com, check your settings, reconfigure
Welcome To Mail until you can continue the set up without
errors.
- Click the No button.

- Click the No button.
