| This tutorial is designed to walk you through how to configure the Macintosh OS X Mail client for use with the Digitalputty email services. |
| You will need your email server settings to set up your email
program. The email server settings are provided in the tutorial, however
you may want to print out our Server
Settings support page as it contains all necessary email server information
and more to get you configured properly and online now! |
You must meet these minimum requirements before setting up the MAC OS X email client:
A. The Apple Macintosh OS X must be installed.
B. The Netscape 7 software must be installed.
C. Your Dial Up connection must already be configured.

| BEGIN SETUP |
- Open Netscape.

- From the Windows menu, choose Mail & Newsgroups.

- From the Edit menu, choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.

- Click the Add Account button.

- Select Email Account.
- Click the Next button.

- In the Your Name field, type your name or the name you want people to see when you send email.
- In the Email Address field, type our full DigitalPutty email address (e.g., username@digitalputty.com).
- Click the Next button.

- Select POP.
- In the Incoming Server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- In the Outgoing Server field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- Click the Next button.

- In the User Name field, type our full DigitalPutty email address (e.g., username@digitalputty.com).
- Click the Next button.

- Click the Finish button.

- Select Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the list.

- In the Server Name field, enter mail.digitalputty.com
- Click the OK button.

- Close all windows.
